A Brief History of Our Chapter

The Women’s Army Corps Veterans’ Association was founded in 1946. The Maryland Free State Chapter 70 was founded in October 1983 and chartered by the Women’s Army Corps Veterans’ Association – Army Women United (WACVA-AWU) on April 19, 1985. The chapter meets monthly to conduct business, plan community service activities, recognize accomplishments of members, and coordinate service to those in need.
